Corwin Bell
Chief Designer and Artistic Director

Corwin Bell has over 18 years experience in multimedia production and was a key player as Creative Director for the first ever CD-Rom interactive game, The PageMaster, for Turner Interactive.
While studying at Evergreen College in Olympia, Washington, Corwin Bell realized that computer animation was a format he could use to manifest the transformative ideas and images that later materialized in his three The Journey to Wild Divine video games. After graduating with honors and earning a Masters degree in Visual Communications from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Bell worked on several films and TV Commercials, where he did set design and cinematography. Some of which include Asteroid, Spirit Dog and Ford Car, Miller Beer and Nintendo. Bell has also worked on children’s software, including Super Safe Kids, a CD-Rom game that teaches awareness of abduction issues in a fun, animated environment. He also became an instructor at the Art Institute of Colorado. Throughout this period, Bell envisioned combining a computer program with biofeedback so that players could not only see the immediate impact of their thoughts and emotions, but also access their innate creative power of visualization. Eventually, in creating his three games for The Journey to Wild Divine series, Bell designed a training program wherein players can actually experience states of being in such a way that they can feel authentically empowered to positively influence their world. Wired magazine dubbed the first Wild Divine game the "Anti-Video Game" because of its focus on healthful, non-violent entertainment. Then Bell formed the production company, VisionShiftStudios, and the first project was an 18 minute high definition experiential film, Sacred Water. This film expands on the experiential alchemy he created in the Wild Divine journeys.
